Creating a Tranquil and Refined Dining Experience

The design of Elegance is characterized by its fan-shaped space, which translates layers of modernity and diversity. The arc-shaped structure extends throughout the restaurant, complemented by wide-open floor-to-ceiling windows that provide a panoramic view of the urban landscape. The combination of warm beams, dim lighting, and a mix of solid and void elements creates a balanced fusion of function and aesthetics.

One of the standout features of Elegance is the use of vertical decorative panels, which are given strength by the arc-shaped structure. The space is further enhanced by dot lights, which echo the length and height of the restaurant and change colors to create a rich and imaginative dining experience. The warm wooden texture and gold frames add a touch of elegance and warmth, inviting patrons to leave their worries behind and immerse themselves in this bright and sophisticated space.

The design team, led by Jacksam Yang as the Executive Director and Steven Kuo as the Design Director, faced several challenges in bringing Elegance to life. Balancing the arc-shaped space with horizontal lines on the walls was crucial to unify the interior furnishings with the city landscape. The concept of solid and void was skillfully applied through the use of mirrors, which not only lighten the space but also reflect the fan-shaped design, creating a sense of openness and expansiveness.

Elegance is not only visually stunning but also carefully designed to enhance the dining experience. The lighting in the restaurant creates beams that highlight the elegant ambiance and the interplay between people, shadows, and space. The result is a refreshing and relaxing atmosphere that invites patrons to indulge in a memorable culinary journey.

The Elegance project, which started in July 2020 and was completed in September 2020, showcases the creativity and technical expertise of Jacksam Yang and his team. This exceptional design has been recognized with the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2022. This award celebrates designs that demonstrate ingenuity, resourcefulness, and a commitment to improving the quality of life through art, science, design, and technology.
